Maybe I want to thank those who visited my blog first.
Anyway, uh, yeah, so I want to- no, I have to admit have so much cons in writing. More like, blogging.
My teacher gave me a link to a page, which contains 81 tips from 24 bloggers. That’s aa lot, but most of them are just the same. And most them are something I haven’t done until now. So, 3 of the most crucial thing that I need in blogging are:
I know I’ve been writing inconsistently lately, like posting 1-2 posts at a time and then not posting anything for a few months. And that’s why I’m happy if there is -any- visitor, even though just one.
2. Specific Theme
I admit this blog looks like chicken salad. But starting from now on, I’ll focus more on writing fiction, poetry, and answering questions from askbox (and blogging assignments from school too of course).
3. Trying to write on different PoVs
An extremely difficult thing to do. Though I want to make my blog as interesting and useful as I can, doing it is actually not easy at all. If possible even, I’d be happy if my blog is useful for studying or you can get any inspiration from reading my posts 🙂
I would like to share every experience and knowledge I got. On 4th October, I went to Liputan6.com with nine of my friends from blogging extraculicular, two from photography, and four teachers. So many things happened but fortunately nothing bad happened. is a new portal in Indonesia, and we can share our writings too in Citizen6. Liputan6.com’s redaction is located in SCTV Tower.
Oh, wait! Before that, perhaps some of you who live outside Indonesia don’t know where SCTV Tower is. But if you know where Senayan City is, you surely know where SCTV Tower is! Yes, because SCTV Tower itself is located in Senayan City, which is divided into two towers.
Thanks to Ms. Deasi, we can finally go there to learn how to write. If it wasn’t because of her patience and hardwork (of persuasion and demanding), we couldn’t have gone to Liputan6.com. This was a great chance to learn, especially because we literally just few things, or even nearly nothing about blogging.
Since we’re from Kalideres, West Jakarta, it took about a hour to reach Senayan City in Central Jakarta. We left the school at 8.45 by minibus. I fell asleep not so long after we hit the road, so I don’t really pay attention along the trip. Except for an upperclassman who asked the name of a certain river, and I answered his question with wrong answer. Still, for me it was a bit unusual for a student to know about some streets or even question a name of a river.
When we arrived there, it wasn’t so sunny, but it wasn’t cloudy either. We entered the tower immediately and (after took some photos) went to the 17th floor, where there were Hutomo who gave the opening speech and taught us about journalism, Karmin Winarta who taught us about popular essay, and Silvia Oetomo from vidio.com who taught us about making video.
Although things went out of the schedule, but still no regrets. We had a lot of fun and learnt new useful things. My mother even said, “Isn’t it fortunate that you chose blogging for elective? They even take you for a trip, that way learning would be fun. God really has determined your path.” Of course! I know I won’t regret choosing blogging elective~ ^^
Something interesting also happened in the way back home. I went home with my mother, and she called Uber because it’s much cheaper than going home by taxi. The driver talked pretty much with my mother: about her daughter that currently learns literally nothing in her school, how he reduces smoking with driving, etc. But from every topic he talked, we could get several moral benefits for our lifes. Though everything depends on our perspectives.
I’ll share the lessons we got in separate posts, don’t forget to follow my blog to get notifications about incoming posts, full with useful and fun-to-read infos!
